Is there a series you wish you’d read earlier?I’ve had a few recommended to me over and over again. One of them is this one, and yup, I wish I’d started it earlier. At least being late to the party meant I didn’t have to wait for the first three books to release 😂

Do you genre-hop while reading or tend to stick to the same one for long periods?I tend to stick to one genre for a couple of books and then switch to the next. Right now, that’s all things historical. I’m halfway through the latest Lady Sherlock book, and next up I plan to dive into #aladysformulaforlove by @elizabetheverettauthorThank you so much to @berkleyromance for our review copy!

Some books you give five stars to because they’re fluffy and light and hilarious. Some you give five stars to after they destroy you. This one more than lives up to the hype.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️@_angela_y_ continues her five-star streak with @writersherrythomas The Art of Theft."I haven’t talked much about the feminism that’s inherently baked into the characters, and thus the world, of this series. Navessa talks much more about it, and I agree wholeheartedly. It’s refreshing, and honest, and whole. It is who the characters are and it always feels very organic to their personal arcs. In The Art of Theft we continue to explore this, as well as the privilege and plights experienced by different classes.What made this book such a favorite, and seem like it was written explicitly for me, is the fact that this is so prominent here. In addition, we have the casual bisexuality of Mrs. Watson – which is explored so beautifully and fully.Then we also have the interrogation of colonization, specifically the British Empire’s expansion into and rule of India.
